Engraved Hermann Weihrauch Marked Custom Pre-War Model 98 Bolt Action Rifle with Scope
Founded in 1899, Weihrauch currently produces air guns and revolvers under the "Beeman" and "Arminus" trade names. Ramp blade front and two-leaf rear sights, with Zella-Mehlis address on top of the barrel and caliber and serial markings on the left side. Oak leaf engraving on the receiver, with a textured field on top of the receiver ring and a woodland scene of three red stag on the floor plate. Equipped with claw bases, a turned butter knife bolt, double set triggers and a C.P Goertz "Tricertar" scope. Checkered Mannlicher style two-piece stock, with horn tip, inserts and grip cap, shadow-line cheekpiece, sling swivels and a serrated buttplate.

Condition: Very fine as customized, with 98% of the blue finish, showing a few areas of brown patina and mild handling marks overall. Stock is excellent, with a few light pressure dents and scratches. A few dents are visible on the scope tube, with good optics, Mechanically excellent.
