Single bead sight on smooth concave solid rib, 2 3/4" chambers, choked improved modified/skeet with ejectors. Casehardened box lock action with fine scroll engraving on all sides as well as the blued break lever and trigger guard. The sides of the action are marked "HENRY ATKIN LTD". The water table is marked with "crown/BNP" and "crown/V" proofmarks. The barrel flats are marked with various proofs and "2 1/2" ", however the chambers gauge at 2 3/4". The bottom of the barrel is marked "H 19947". Double triggers, tang mounted automatic safety and mounted with a fancy grain checkered walnut splinter forearm and straight grip stock, with a solid leather covered recoil pad with a piece of suede glued to the butt. LOP 15 1/4". Complete with a canvas covered hard takedown case with combination lock, leather corner protectors and straps and green felt lining. The inside of the lid has an attached label reading "HENRY ATKIN / GUN MAKERS, / 88 JERMYN STREET, ST JAMES / LONDON" and a label with cartridge, charge and choke information.

Condition: Partially refinished, the blue components, with 98% of the blue finish remaining. There is a small amount of minor pitting under the finish on the forearm knuckle and on the bottom receiver plate, a scratch on the right barrel at the muzzle and some minor wear on the muzzles. The action has a smooth gray patina with strong original case colors in the protected areas around the fences. The wood is refinished with only light handling/storage marks and sharp checkering. The engraving and markings are clear. The mechanics are excellent. The case is very good.
