Excellent. The barrels (both sets) retain 98% plus original blue finish with some minor wear from assembly and disassembly, and a few minor scratches. The trigger guard and break lever retain 99% original blue finish with a small amount of very light spotting on the trigger guard tang. The receiver and side plates retain 99% original coin finish with some mild wear on the upper tang. The wood is very good with dings, dents and small scratches scattered throughout. The checkering remains crisp. The case is fair with heavy discoloration and cracked leather on the top and missing carrying handle and leather straps. The leather on the lid has hardened and there is a large crack and some absent material. The lining shows a couple of tears and some contact wear.
