Very good. The barrel has a smooth brown patina and the remaining metal surfaces have a smooth dark gray patina. Almost all of the gold inlay remains. The silver components remain bright. The stock is good with a minor crack on the underside toward the forward end of the trigger guard tang, a repaired break 8 inches back of the muzzle on the forearm, and some scattered minor dents and dings. About half of the silver wire inlay remains. The engraving and markings are clear. The action is fine.
