The upper rear left side of the trigger guard is marked "41 CAL" and the matching serial number appears on the frame, trigger guard and backstrap. A factory six-pointed rework star is present on right rear triggerbow. Blade front and frame notch rear sights, "bullseye" ejector head and fitted with smooth ivory grips.

Good. The revolver retains 40% of the original nickel finish on the barrel and the protected area of the trigger guard with the balance of the metal having a gray patina with moderate pitting on the ejector housing, cylinder, hammer and parts of the frame. The slightly undersized grips are fine with some minor age cracks and showing a pleasant streaked patina. Unless noted above, the markings are readable and the engraving is crisp. The cylinder has some play and the action is out of time, but functions properly.
