Engraved Belgium Browning Grade IV Magnum Bar Model Semi-Automatic Rifle
Manufactured by Browning in 1978, this rifle features a standard weight barrel built with no sight and the receiver drilled and tapped with Leupold base and rings attached. The trigger is gold washed with a polished bolt and handle. The barrel is marked with the caliber on the right side and the Browning one line address over "MADE IN BELGIUM" on the left side. The Browning Crown proof is marked on the left side of the barrel at the receiver. The left side of the receiver is engraved with scroll work surrounding a detailed game scene with two moose depicted in a lake scene. The left side shows the same detailed scroll work with a game scene of Elk running along with scroll engraving on the floor plate and trigger guard. The receiver is signed on the left side with the engravers signature, "J. BAGUE". The rifle features a highly figured walnut stock with fine line checkering and oak leaf carved borders. Complete with sling swivel studs, black Pachmyr pad and the original Browning box.
