Engraved American Historical Foundation Smith & Wesson Model 629-3 Hunter Special Edition Double Action Revolver with Scope

This example has extensive floral scroll engraving on the sides of the barrel, frame and on the cylinder. The left side of the frame is engraved "ONE OF/50" and the trigger guard bow is engraved "47 of 50". The left side of the barrel is engraved "HUNTER SPECIAL EDITION" in a banner on either side of "SMITH & WESSON". The bottom of the barrel is engraved with the initials "GRJ". The underlug has a bolt with three stainless weights and two plastic spacers to set the point of balance. The top of the factory ported barrel has an integral Picatinny rail with a Nikon 2x20 scope mounted with engraved scope rings. Fitted with a set of finger groove hardwood grips with silver S&W medallions. With a blue felt gun sleeve.

Excellent, 99% of the original finish remains with initials engraved on the underside of the barrel. The grips are also excellent. Mechanically excellent. The scope is excellent as well with clear optics.
