English transition court sword with scabbard, approx. 36-1/2” overall with a 31” etched blade, maker marked “Sandilands & Son, Conduit St.; blade shows considerable original polish, grip and guard with majority of gold wash remaining; leather scabbard retains its original engraved throat and drag that are also gold washed; body of scabbard is shows general cracking and a taped repair at the top of the drag but is original to this sword.
