English sword (no scabbard), circa 1790’s 38-1/2” overall with a 32-1/2” engraved blade, wire wrapped grip, gold guard and pommel, in overall very good condition showing grey patina to blade with scattered spots of erosion and some minor pitting, top of spine of blade at hilt reads “F.
