English oak case for Colt Single Action Army, 4-3/4” barrel, cartridge block drilled for .455 caliber, 17 rounds included. The interior of the case is lined in plush red velvetine with Colt label in lid, showing Piccadelly address. The case also contains an English-style oiler and pearl gripped screwdriver. The compartment shows extra small parts and spring, and working key. The interior of the case is in fine to excellent condition showing some wear at contact points, just slight aging. The case lining and label were expertly restored in England approx. 30 to 40 years ago. The exterior of the case is fine to near excellent with brass mountings. A very attractive case that is almost imperceptible to identify as restored. Est: $600 - $1,200
