English flintlock pistol converted to percussion signed Wilbraham on the lock plate circa about 1800 to 1820. The pistol measures 15” overall and is approximately .62 caliber smoothbore. The metal surfaces show a gray to brown patina finish with traces of case hardening on the lock. There is some scattered light to moderate erosion and pitting. The stock is very good plus with sharp checkering, some minor scratches and just normal aging with a couple slight losses wood at the edge. An original to the period style ramrod is included and there is some bright blue on the trigger guard and mounts. Est.: $900- $1,800.
