c. 1700-10, two sections: the recessed upper section with a double-domical crest, enclosing a pair of domically-crested doors mounted with beveled-glass mirror panels of conforming upper outline, the doors opening to a plain interior of three adjustable wood shelves above a pair of candle-slides; the lower section with a canted front, hinged with a fall-front writing board, shaped desk interior comprised of a valenced central cubby hole between two pairs of valenced narrow cubby holes over two shaped drawers each, all above a horizontal sliding door and flanked by two-tier side units with single-drawer bases, all above a straight front of four drawers in a graduated arrangement of two narrow over two deep, all veneered in highly figured burl walnut to match the writing board and doors, all with engraved period brasses and raised on short straight bracket feet, 84 t., 40 w., 23 1/2 d.
