English Trulock & Harris (Snider’s Patent) breech loading single shot rifle, carbine length, .60 cal., 18-1/2” round barrel, wood half stock with horn fore end cap, British proofed, #25 marked twice on left side ofbarrel at breech, WD with broad arrow proof on breech block, brass trigger guard and butt plate, one barrel key. This interesting gun is in overall good condition showing a dark brown patina to metal surfaces, good bore and action; wood stock is overall good with lots of wear including old mars, dings and scratches; also there is faintly stamped on the left side of the butt stock “C S A” with no authentication or attribution related tothis marking from consignor.
