A large 62 mm watch whose case may be pinchbeck or brass with a movement signed Joseph Batson, London. The 19th century pocket watch is double cased and has a key wind key set movement with a fusee and lever escapement. The watch may run with some work, but is presently missing the fusee chain. SHIPPING AND DELIVERIES: We can pack and ship many of the items in this sale. Please read the item?s description for more details. WE WILL NOT INSURE ITEMS SHIPPED DIRECTLY FROM CONVERSE & CO., so if you require insurance you must use a 3rd party shipper. We recommend our local UPS Store. They can be contacted at the email addresses posted below. In some situations, we can arrange to deliver items. With all shipping transactions except those directly through Converse & Co., the transaction is between you and your chosen shipper only. Regardless of how your items are shipped, we require notification of your plans (preferably in writing) when making your payment. If you wish to use the UPS Store, we will give them your pertinent information and they will contact you directly after payment to Converse is received. Unless you designate your own shipper or have us notify our recommended UPS shippers within three weeks after payment is received, we will move your items to storage (you will incur a storage charge) or we will resell the items to recover our storage fees.
USING OUR RECOMMENDED UPS SHIPPERS: If you request our recommended UPS stores to pack & ship your item(s), you will receive an estimate from them after payment is made to Converse for your auction purchase(s). The UPS store(s) will quote a packing & shipping cost (including a discount on the packing). After your approval and payment, they will pick up your items, pack, and send them to you. It may take up to two weeks to get a quote from them. If you would like a shipping quote before to the sale, email either of these stores giving the lot number(s) and your address.
