English Adams DA percussion revolver with rare and desirable period Agent’s marking on top of frame “MADE EXPRESSLY FOR HYDE & GOODRICH NEW ORLEANS”, .36 cal., 4” octagon barrel, engraved frame, blue finish,checkered wood grips, #1046. This gun is in overall very good condition showing traces of original blue finish in protected areas with balance gone to a brown patina; some traces of case colors on the loading lever, goodrifling in bore, crisp action, sharp markings, very good grips. These guns were popular in the South during the Civil War and any Hyde & Goodrich marked revolver is highly sought after by collectors of CivilWar and Confederate States artifacts; most were “ridden hard and put up wet”; this one is one of the better ones we’ve seen in some time. Est.: $2,500-$5,000.

We are open Tuesday thru Friday 10:00 am to 5:00 pm and Saturday 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Little John's will be closed the Friday after the auction. Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries. International buyers agree to pay all cost incurred including all shipping, insurance, exporter fees, all custom and duty fees associated with shipment. Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Regulations apply and MUST be strictly followed.
