Enfield percussion musket, lockplate dated 1859, bored smooth to .75 cal., 39” barrel, blued finish, three barrel bands, sling swivels, full length wood stock with iron ramrod, brass trigger guard and butt plate; lockplate also stamped “Imported by Robinson, Adam & Co. Richmond”; left side of barrel at breech is stamped “M 38 POTTS HENRY CLIVE”; in overall very good condition showing a dark patina mixed with blue finish, good action and markings, overall good to very good wood with scattered mars and scratches from carry and storage; nipple protector and chain still attached. Est.: $750-$1,500.
