English military top-break double action revolver chambered in .38 Smith & Wesson, dated 1930. Features a blued finish, 5" bbl, low-profile patridge front sight, square notched rear sight on the barrel catch, fluted six-shot cylinder, automatic extractor, smooth trigger, knurled hammer spur, square butt frame with lanyard ring and two-piece checkered walnut grips. The serial numbers on the frame, barrel and cylinder are matching. Markings: Backstrap - "RASC/49.CO/1." Frame - "ENFIELD/No 2[crown]Mk 1/1930" Barrel - "CAL..38.," "30," & military proofs. The revolver exhibits approximately 70% of it's fine blued finish showing light holster wear, a drag line on the cylinder, thinning on the frame and some light pitting under the finish on the barrel catch & cylinder retaining cam. Action is smooth with solid lock-up, bore is good+ with some minor pin prick pitting, markings are very good and the wood grips are very good with worn points.
