Enfield Mdl P14 .444 Marlin
SN: W61779 Sporterized military bolt-action rifle made in USA for England during WWI. Barrel was re-bored to chamber the .444 Marlin. The barrel and receiver were re-blued and are now a plum color. An aftermarket Marbles ramp front sight with a white bead and a Williams receiver peep sight. Bolt number does not match receiver and barrel serial number. The barrel has English proof marks for when it was a .303 British caliber. The original rear sight and the sight protector ears have been removed. Action works well. Bore is bright and shiny with good rifling. Wood stock has black plastic forend tip, grip cap and butt plate (marked "Bishop"). There is a slight Monte Carlo comb with a cheek rest for right-handed shooters. It has a few light scratches. Condition is good to very good. *Modern Firearm C&R*
