This is an excellent Empire Style Belgium liquor cabinet from the 19th century. The piece has the iconic Empire Style which is of the second phase of neoclassicism style. The style was created by Napoleon before and while he was Emperor of France. The pieces were made to have a style which reflected the historic Roman Empire showing brass accented pillars. The front has burl wood drawers and a drop down counter area. The inside is lined with mirrors. The piece has been electrified. Measures 37.5"W x 51.25"H x 17"D. Exact age unknown. Late 19th to early 20th. The three drawers have silverware and utensil inserts. This was imported from Belgium by the owners family.
