Emmy award for the beloved children's show ''Sesame Street''. Emmy was presented at the 1999 Daytime Emmy Awards, won by Adam Rudman for ''Outstanding Writing in a Children's Series''. The iconic winged woman holding an atom stands on the convex, grid-lined surface of a round metal base, plated in 18k gold. Flat perimeter of base reads: ''THE NATIONAL ACADEMY OF TELEVISION ARTS AND SCIENCES''. Plaque is engraved with 5 lines naming the award, its category and recipient: ''1998-1999 DAYTIME EMMY AWARDS / Outstanding Writing in a Children's Series / 'Sesame Street' / PBS / Adam Rudman, Writer''. Measures 15.25'' in total height with 7.5'' diameter base, and weighs 4 lbs., 7 oz. Dimensions are the same as Emmys presented in the standard Creative Arts category. One side of the base is slightly higher, and needs to be adjusted so that it lies flat against the band, otherwise near fine with a lustrous finish.
