<B>Emile LaVigne's Make-Up Chair.</B></I> A talented make-up artist on a variety of productions during the 1930s-'80s, Emile LaVigne's credits include <I>The Wizard of Oz,</B></I> <I>Invasion of the Body Snatchers,</B></I> <I>West Side Story,</B></I> <I>The Great Escape,</B></I> and <I>Towering Inferno.</B></I> This beautiful wooden folding chair with green leather arm and back rests was used by LaVigne, whose clients would sit it in while he applied make-up and prosthetic appliances to them. The chair stands 44" and has LaVigne's name stenciled on the front and back, and "make-up" stenciled on the seat.
