Embossed Suit of Parade Armor with Halberd

An armors copy of an example of a parade suit that has extensive floral scroll and Fleur-de-Lis embossed designs. There are decorative brass floral bosses riveted around the outside edges of the tassets, gauntlet cuffs, pauldrons, culet and on the bottom lame of the helmet. This example has embossed rondels for protecting the arm pits. The skull of the close helmet is composed of two pieces with a rolled and roped edge at the top of the comb. The gauntlets have fully articulating fingers. With a late 16th century style halberd with decorative piercings and maker's stamp. Mounted on a wooden base. Stands approximately 9 1/2 feet tall with halberd.

Very good with some artificial patina, some discoloration, some areas of minor pitting and scattered minor freckling. The halberd is good with a couple small chips absent at the points of the axe and a replacement shaft.
