Screen-used grenade, used by Matt Damon in the 2013 film Elysium. Hard rubber grenade was made by Peter Jackson’s Weta Workshop and measures 6? tall with a removable pin, metal handle, and intricate painting and markings. Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from Media Rights Capital, as well as a letter of provenance which reads, in part: “This prop Hero grenade was used by Matt Damon during film of the 2013 movie Elysium…This prop was custom made by Weta Workshops of New Zealand, Peter Jackson’s company for the film.” Also included are four pieces of screen-used Ameros currency; a helmet visor for the character Manuel (Adrian Holmes); and a folding knife used by the character Spider. These pieces are also accompanied by a single letter of provenance. In fine condition.
