Elvis Telegrams with Four Concert Tickets. Toward
Elvis Telegrams with Four Concert Tickets. Towards the end of his career, Elvis was playing a number of successful shows at arena venues. Featured are four tickets to his September 7, 1972, concert at the Cleveland Arena, which went for $15 each. Also included are two Western Union telegrams sent to Elvis before the concert; one from then president Richard Nixon that reads: "Dear Elvis, Best wishes for a successful Cleveland appearance," and one from "Partridge Family" star Danny Bonaduce that reads "Dear Elvis, So what's the story on the guy who follows you on stage taking up the slack on your microphone cord? Tell him to get a real job." The items are in great condition, with a couple of folding creases on each of the telegrams.
