Original vintage Elvis Presley Album of Juke Box Favorites songbook, 9 x 12, 35 pages, printed in 1955. Songbook contains 15 songs and 13 images inside, and is signed on the front cover in blue ballpoint, “Yours, Elvis Presley.” In very good condition, with some scattered light soiling and creasing to the cover (including a long diagonal crease, not affecting the signature), and toning to several inside pages from taped-in newspaper clippings.
Presley was still recording with Sun Records when he was chosen for the cover of this songbook. The future "King of Rock & Roll” was then just a young heartthrob, but a savvy marketing type knew that picturing him on the front of this publication would mean big sales! Kudos also to the fan who asked Elvis for this autograph as The King was on the verge of superstardom.
