Stunning 14K yellow gold diamond ring given by Elvis Presley to a high roller at the Sands Hotel/Casino in the early 1970s. The gold modern-style nugget ring, approximately size 8.5 and 15.3 gm, features a handsome carved three-dimensional design with a round brilliant cut diamond set in the center (estimated weight: 0.57 carat, clarity: VS1, color: F). In fine condition. Accompanied by a letter of provenance from Billy Thompson, in full: "This gold diamond ring was given to my father in the early 70s by entertainer, Elvis Presley at or during one of his performances. My father was a high roller at the Sands Hotel/Casino. His friend, Bucky Harris, had connections with someone where Elvis was performing that evening. A favor was made and my father caught the show. This ring was given to my father by Elvis Presley. I have the original menu which is included with the ring." Includes the souvenir menu for Elvis's concert at the Las Vegas Hilton in 1972. Also includes an appraisal letter from Bellman's Jewelers, outlining the technical aspects of the piece.
