Elvis Presley Souvenir Picture Album
Elvis Presley Souvenir Picture Album (1956). A rare vintage eight-page souvenir booklet, from an Elvis-headlining concert in early 1956, just after the King was signed by RCA away from Sun Records. The album comes from the original purchaser, who bought it at an engagement in Newport New, Virginia on February 13, 1956. Appearing with Elvis (and included in the souvenir program) were Justin Tubb, the Louvin Brothers, the Carter Sisters, and Benny Martin. Note the program refers to Elvis and "Country Music's 'Mr. Rhythm'" -- the soon-to-be King of Rock and Roll had not yet released his first RCA smash "Heartbreak Hotel." His biggest releases at that point were the Country hits "I Forgot to Remember to Forget" and "Mystery Train." That would soon change! This is a great piece of memorabilia. In Fine condition with some mild wear and areas of discoloration.

Shipping: Flat Material, Small (view shipping information)
