A cane made from bamboo and elk antler. With notations in brown paint "No. 17" on the burr and "DENVER, COLO." along the body, and in small lettering "W.F.C. Cody, Wyo.". This is believed to refer to the Elks Lodge #17 in Denver where the funeral of William F. Cody "Buffalo Bill" was held. It is uncertain if this a personal item of Cody's or a tribute but it is certainly an interesting artifact. The cane stands 36" tall with an 11" brow tine.
