Letter to Mrs. Park. In part: “I enjoyed Daisy Ashford to the bitter end…I saw the King too, and I became so thrilled I found myself…bowing to the Queen. There being no one else there, Her Majesty could do no less than return my salutations. Then back to sanity…I heard a tenemant [sic] child explaining…’That’s the man that didn’t have no country for four years.’” In fine condition, with some scattered light toning and soiling.
