Hopkins in New York, concerning a lawsuit against Georgia statesman William Few, a signer of the US Constitution. In part: "Herewith you will find inclosed a copy of the process which has heretofore been instituted against William Few (formerly of Georgia & now of N. York). I wish you to pay such attention to the subject as your leisure will permit. I will thank you to drop me a line informing me of the time within you deem it will be most proper to commence that suit which I proposed when I saw you last." In fine condition, with some stains to the top of the first page, and an edge tear and minor seal-related paper loss to the integral address leaf.
