<B>Large Group Lot of Eleven Civil War Era Issues of </B></I><B><I>Harper's Weekly</B></I></B></I> (New York: Harper Brothers, 1865), about 16 pages each, elephant folio (11.5" x 16"), with the typical yellowing and minor chipping to pages due to the high acid content of the paper. Of note is a November 4, 1865 issue with a full page engraving of the Confederate Army at Appomattox Courthouse; an October 28, 1865 issue with engravings of the Fenian Brotherhood; a December 2, 1865 issue with a full page engraving of a New York church fire; a January 21, 1865 issue with an engraving of General Butler’s Dutch Gap Canal before the explosion; January 7; January 14; January 28; October 21; November 18; December 16; and December 23, 1865 issues.
