President Eisenhower typewriter gifted to his White House secretary. ''Smith Corona'' brand electric typewriter was given to Eisenhower's personal secretary, Helen E. Weaver, who worked for the President at the NATO Headquarters in Paris from 1951-53 and then the White House from 1953-57. The gift was presented as she left her position at the White House. Typewriter has a personalized plaque affixed to front of typewriter reading: ''TO- / HELEN E. WEAVER / -FROM- / HER FRIENDS AT THE WHITE HOUSE / JUNE 1957.'' Includes a COA signed by Weaver's son, David North. Overall very good to near fine condition.
