In this memoir, the renowned former First Lady recounts the 13 years following the death of her late husband, President Franklin D. Roosevelt. In particular, she describes her involvement in national and world affairs, including her participation in the United Nations, an organization which had been so important to FDR. An official White House calling card (2.5” x 3.75”) signed “Eleanor Roosevelt” has been affixed to the front endpaper with mylar corners. A book plate including the name of the original owner is attached to the inside front cover. The book is in very good condition with some fading and minor wear; the dust jacket is in poor condition with tears, creases and missing pieces (but is now supported by the mylar cover).

Shipping: Books & Catalogs (view shipping information)
