ALS, one page, 5.25 x 8.5, The Philistine: A Periodical of Protest letterhead, no date. Letter to a young collector. In part, “As for the blue-backed speller I was going to say, we are nothing if not original and being geniuses in the bed are exercising the prerogative of singularity—we scorn all conventional ways of doing things…Yes, we will be delighted to receive you into the Philistine fold.” On the reverse of the second integral page, Hubbard has added a short postscript.
