Eight Forks by Mermod Jaccard & Co St. Louis MO. Very simple pattern. These pieces have not been cleaned. The marking reads: Mermod Jaccard & Co. St. Louis made by the famous St. Louis, Missouri jewelry company of the gilded age. In 1904 Mermod and Jaccard designed the medals for the Olympics as well as the Festival Hall clock for the 1904 World?s Fair which was in St. Louis that year. I don't know much about silver but pieces from this maker, according to my internet research, are rare.
