corps commanders Darius Couch (2nd & 23rd) and John G. Parke (9th) by Brady. Also, Samuel Heintzelman (3rd), no back mark, with a clipped autograph signed Truly Yours/S.P Heintzelman. Brigadiers include the uninspiring Edward Ferrero by J. Gurney, cavalrymen George Bayard by Fredericks, mortally wounded at Fredericksburg, and Henry C. Davies, plus Rufus King, the discredited organizer of the famed Iron Brigade, published by Anthony after Brady. Last is Brevet Brigadier General Alonzo Alden with clipped autograph that reads, Truly Yours/Alonzo Alford/Col. 169th N.Y.V./Army of then James. Alford was brevetted in January 1865 and his CDV by Churchill & Dennison shows him wearing a 10th Corps ribbon/badge. 

Condition: All CDVs about VG. with minor corner/edge wear.
