Eickhorn Production Experimental K98 Bayonet with Scarce On-Board Utility Knife and Two Sheaths

Measuring 12 inches in overall length, this bayonet is fitted with a 7 1/8 inch long blade, with a 2 3/4 inch false edge, and marked "cof" and "WaA519" (assigned codes for Eickhorn) on the short left ricasso. The hilt is steel, with brown synthetic grip panels and an uncovered steel butt. What appears to be the front of the grip is actually a detachable multi-tool, containing a corkscrew, stitching awl, screwdriver/ wire stripper and pocketknife/ can opener, the last marked "ltk" on the side. With two black plastic sheaths, one with an integral metal hanger, the other with the hanger shortened and used as a mounting point for a leather belt loop more in line with a standard K98 bayonet.

About good. The blade shows a few dings, along with a mixed brown and gray patina, and a few chips are absent from the grips. The sheaths are very good, with noted alteration showing a few light scratches. The multi-tool is fine, with strong blue finish.
