Financial document, in part: “The Treasurer of the Republic of Texas, will pay to the order of Edwin Waller Forty five Dollars.” Endorsed on the reverse by Waller, “Pay the bearer, Edwin Waller.” Heavy overall wear, soiling, endorsement heavily affected and difficult to read, and paper loss and tears to edges, otherwise very good condition.
