Signed copy of Markham’s internationally known poem, ‘The Man With the Hoe,’ poem, one page, 8.5 x 14, signed at the bottom in black ink. Edwin Markham, 1931.” In fine condition, with several horizontal folds, a uniform shade of mild toning, and a few light edge creases. Accompanied by a letter of provenance from the original recipient of the poem, which was presented to him at his junior high school, as an award for Academic Excellence in creative literature. The poem was donated by the school’s vice principal who donated it to the school.
