The hammers and lock plates feature a light floral engraving with "EDWIN HUNT" marked on both lock plates. Single bead sight on a solid rib with a rear sight having been removed. Brass buttplate and trigger guard (engraved with a floral pattern). Half stock with a checkered wrist and engraved silver accents.
BBL: 35 1/4 inch solid rib
Stock: walnut
Gauge: 12
Finish: brown/casehardened
Grips:
Serial Number: NSN
Condition: Fair. The barrels have a smooth dark brown patina with patches of gray with some dings on muzzles. There is even pitting on the lock plates and hammers. The refinished stock has some missing chips around the locks and on the forearm and a wood repair near the right lock, along with some minor handling marks. The checkering is smooth. A missing trigger guard screw has been replaced with a nail. The left hammer is loose, otherwise action is fine.
