Uncommon official color semi-glossy 10 x 8 ‘red-numbered’ NASA photo of White performing the first space walk by an American during the Gemini 4 mission, signed and inscribed in black ink, “To John Roth, What a view, Edward H. White II.” Reverse bears “A Kodak Paper” watermarks. A small spot of surface loss and slight overall crazing to emulsion, otherwise fine condition. White remains one of the scarcest early astronaut autographs, with this ‘red-numbered’ NASA photo depicting the Gemini pilot floating in the vacuum of space among the most sought-after of formats.
