Edward H. Bohlin Concho Belt with "Horse Whisperer" Buckle. Diamond, round and spotted Edward H. Bohlin heavy gauge black sterling silver 1 3/4" concho belt measuring approximately 41" in overall length for a 34" to 38" waist. Belt is maker-marked on the back side. Affixed to a limited edition (#347/5000) Bohlinmade and marked "Horse Whisperer" sterling silver buckle. The popular buckle measures 3 1/4" wide by 2 5/8" tall and is made of heavy sterling silver, designed to fit a 1 1/2" belt. It features a bridle horsehead in the center with four flowers at each corner. Each of the four flowers represents a stage of training for a bridle horse - the snaffle bit, the jaquima, the double rein, and the straight up bridle. This buckle was originally designed for Tom Booker in the 1998 Robert Redford movie, The Horse Whisperer. Both belt and buckle are in outstanding, lightly worn condition.
