Featured in this lot we have a Edward H. Bohlin Company rolling glass display case originating from the mid 20th century. The Edward H. Bohlin Company was founded around 1926 by Edward Bohlin and is known for cowboy silver and leather gear and accessories. Bohlin started his business by making leather and silver harnesses and outfits for silent films and quickly became the go to provider of cowboy and western gear on and off the screen. The Bohlin Co. made accessories for figures such as Roy Rogers, Ray "Crash" Corrigan, The Lone Ranger, and more. Bohlin is known to this day for its high quality and excellent leather goods. This display case shows a wooden frame with four display shelves and glass paneled front, sides, and top. The front of the case is painted in gold reading "Edward H. Bohlin Co." with the image of a cowboy riding a bucking bronco with a plaque at the top of the frame reading "Mor-Sho-Cases MFG By Morton Show Cases, Inc. Washington CH, Ohio". The display shelves show wood construction with green felt tops and gilt gold borders. The back of the piece shows a pair of locking sliding doors. The frame shows red and black paint job with four wheeled legs across the bottom. The display and sales case shows good condition overall with some wear due to age and a crack in the glass across the top. The piece measures 51" tall by 59" wide and 23 1/4" deep.
