Watercolour on paper painting, featuring two woodshed homes. Signed by Edward Garbely (1908-1999, American) on bottom left corner. 11.25 x 15 inches (28.6 x 38.1 cm). Edward Garbely was born on August 15, 1908 in Newark, New Jersey. He was best known for his harbor scenes, seascapes, landscapes. He studied at the Newark School of Fine & Industrial Art, including with John R. Grabach, A. H. Trouck, and Alexander Baranowski. He also studied with noted artist Emil Gruppe and NY artist Dorothy Koppelman. He was a member of the New Jersey Society of Painters & Sculptors, the East Orange Art Club, (showing 500 of 1431 characters). Provenance: Private American collection, Ohio, United States
