<B>Edward Everett ALS,</B></I> two pages with address panel, 7.25" x 9", London, England, August 10, 1818, to George Joy, Peutonville. A 22 year-old Everett tries here to exchange some theological tracts in Spanish for ones in English. Loss on address panel from seal breakage, else fine condition. Everett's career would see him become Governor of Massachusetts in 1836 and later serve as Secretary of State under Millard Fillmore, 1850-1853. <I>Ex. Henry E.
