<B>Edward Everett Autograph Letter Signed</B></I> “<I>Edward Everett</B></I>”. Three pages, 4” x 6.5”, Cambridge, November 14, 186?, to Anthony Panizzi. The letter concerns books and libraries. Anthony Panizzi (1797-1879) was a noted naturalized British librarian and Italian by birth. Edward Everett (1794-1865) held many political offices in his native state of Massachusetts and nationally. Everett served as the Governor of Massachusetts, as a Congressman and Senator from that state and as the Secretary of State under President Millard Fillmore.
