Featured in this lot is this etching titled "Noontime in Taos," by artist Edward Borein born in 1872 and died in 1945. The etching features a wonderfully and professionally crafted etching construction that shows a Taos Vaquero riding his horse and coiling up his rope with a flat hat sombrero on his head. This etching was examined by Fine Art Appraisals by Harold G. Davidson and was determined to be a restrike impression pulled circa 1970-81. The condition of this framed etching is good with no obvious signs of damage and shows good overall condition. The measurements of this framed etching is 15 5/8" x 17" and the visible artwork measures 8 3/8" x 10 1/8". Provenance: This artwork is from the collection of Mr. Karol Vardell.
