Forty-eight hand-colored plates (numbered 1 through 40 and A through H) with a three page table of contents as issued.<BR><BR>The plates are laid-in to the original brown cloth covered portfolio with all string ties present. A color illustration is mounted on the front board with titles in light yellow. The cloth backstrip of the portfolio is split along the joints. The boards are soiled with typical shelf wear most noticeably at the corners. The plates have slightly toned along the edges, else they are bright.
