French inventor (1844–1940) primarily known for his involvement in wireless telegraphy. ANS in French, signed “E. Branly,” along the side of a 5.25 x 4 large format business card citing the diseases he treats and his use of ‘electrotheraphy,’ no date. Untranslated text in which Branly thanks the recipient for having loyally supported him at the Catholic Institute and for favorably citing his research. In fine condition, with a few spots of soiling and faint show-through from areas of mounting remnants on the reverse.
