(Paramount, 1951) Sketch of Lois Chartrand as "Marsha" wearing a pink sleeveless dress with black bow. Accomplished in watercolor and gouache on heavy paper stock, with production approvals and costs on verso. Handwritten notation at lower right reads "Marsha #6". Initialed by director George Stevens just beneath. Measures approx. 14 in. x 23 in. This film won six Academy Awards, including Best Director (Stevens) and Best Costume Design (Head).
